Fluential Mix - 2000-2004 Dark Prog

When I first started working at Defected as an unpaid intern, they asked me if I had any ideas or suggestions. The first thing I said was 'bring back Fluential' and now, nearly 3 years down the line they've decided to take my advice!

Some of you may remember the label. Had artist like D Ramirez, Smokin' Jo, Jay-J, Jason Jinx etc... and for a while they put out some seriously good shit, but as the prog bubble burst they started diluting it by putting ever more soulful shit on there al la Warren Clake, which ultimately meant that they stopped getting taken seriously. Fortunately the records we've signed to relaunch the label are much more in the tech/prog/techno vien so I'm a happy bunny at work today Just signed a H.O.S.H track called 'The Valve' which is fucking badass

Anyway, decided to put together a little tribute mix using some of the back-catalogue...completely fogotten how good some of this stuff is.

Would be interested to know what you guys think

    Cheers!
