how about the essential mix pool party...8 bathrooms for 3000+ people. the line was 45 min long! we left instead of waiting for it. never again. fuckin tong...

^ Mansion was actually better than normal this year. The staff seemed friendlier than the past few years. I only ran into one a-hole there and it was one of the door guys. And totally agree, s&d that night were amazing.

Also buy two drinks instead of one and/or bring in a flask.

One interesting caveat about Shine...I was given 10 free drink cards by the front desk because of a major f*ck-up on their part. Anyway, the bartenders poured pretty much straight alcohol when I used the free drink card, it was probably 4 shots...just thought i'd mention that.

hernan was a rockin'. he is playin his usual proggy goodness. i have some vids i'll post when i get home from work.

he played 2.5 hours-ish, then darren emmerson came on and promptly cleaered the dancefloor i left for space about then to catch lawler, luciano, and timo maas (who were all brilliant)
