Played football from junior high through the end of high school. My team went to the state championship game in 2003, but then we ran up against the buzzsaw inner-city black school and lost. lol

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

Yeah I played at The Woodlands. I played middle linebacker but didn't start because we had some hosses on our defense. I think 4 of our starters on defense my senior year are playing college football now. Look for Taylor Charbonnet playing in the secondary at Texas Tech because he's fast as hell, and Taylor Skaufel plays safety at Stanford now (smart motherfucker). I've heard both of these guys' names whenever their teams are on TV which cracks me up because they're good friends of mine. The other two guys are at D-II or D-III schools I think.

Oh yeah and we also were on ESPN when we played Lufkin back in 2006, but we lost after a 3 hour rain delay in the middle of the second quarter killed our momentum. I'm not bitter about that though.

              Anyway, Texas HS Football ftw!

it wasn't that hard for me tbh .. i always regard both sport as pretty much the same but it took awhile for me to get used to skating on ice though

the reason why i didn't get into ice hockey much earlier even though i tried was because i was paying for ice time out of my own pocket when i was still in high school .. it cost quite a fair bit and after awhile i just couldn't afford it. I made the jumped a couple of years back because i was sort of dragged into it by my friend from Wisconsin who moved here for work

What other kinds of extreme stuff? I climb and boulder myself, started outdooring last year in the Alps and gotta say that it's much cooler than indoor climbing. Would love to get to Yosemite one day, or go bouldering somewhere around SLC area -I was told there's supposed to be some good spots around there.

Spent christmas and NYW in Morocco, climbing in the Todra Gorge and did my first multipitch there (a little over 300ft). Next up is a 900ft climb this summer if me and my partner can make it .

Currently play amateur football in a local park twice a week....do it mainly for the exercise, and it's the first time I've ever seriously taken up a physical activity except for the gym....am slowly developing into a Carrick-esque midfielder LOL

I once went snowboarding in northern Italy for a week. I have a few friends that say the first time you board is the worst time. Well, I can honestly say it was thee single worst week in my life.

We'd booked some lessons for the first day but because we took the wrong ski lift in the morning we missed it. This meant I was at the top of the mountain armed with a board I had no idea how to use. Getting to the bottom took an age and involved some of the worst pain I have ever experienced. I attempted to stay upright for the next couple of days but continually failed, enduring more and more pain. I thought snow was soft and fluffy? Thank the lord for Jacuzzis, and alcohol.

I'm resigned to the fact that a beach, towel and the sun are the way forward for me now.
