thanks for the kind opinions everyone. best thing is spread the word. get me more downloads. i have anew found motivation to get back into it. conisdering my past, i should. this mix was exciting for me. i took the time to consider the tracks i wanted to use and boiled it down to thirty or so. then i picked a few warmups i wanted to play for sure, played em out of order to force a new mix, tried to mix longer and play deeper, then i let the pot Zand booze take over and played what my head put forth first. i experimented moreso then ever if u conisder the blend of deeep deep house, organic latin sounds, and that techy, funky soud we all love. but most of all i tried to keep a groove going, something would keep the lower back and ass moving. i decided on making this on my cdj's , hence the kick drum differences in sound rather than a traditional studio mix b/c i wanted a freestyle feeling to my track selection and mixing. from the early phone calls, this is getting some play and as always i thank you all for ur opinions as i do take them into consideration. i never try to teach anything, just always try to mix music i love and i want to dance to. a healthy mix between the deep house sounds, the trippy progressive and a little dose of some tech house later on for ther energy.
