    Re: Excerise Music Recommendations

    Sam:

See if you can find a copy of Squeeze's 45/Singles, it's got a bunch of tunes thereon that would fit (no pun intended) your needs ;-)

Black Coffee in Bed, Cool for Cats and a couple others...it also serves a dual purpose being that it's "chick-friendly"

I'd also highly recommend Blue Man Group -- their first is "Audio" and their second "The Complex" are both pretty frenetic in pace, and worthwhile listens to boot.

Good luck! And ferchrissakes, make sure your iPod isn't bouncing along with you on the treadmill (if it's a lifecycle, pop the 'pod into the cupholder lest ye be stricken with a healthy body and an unhealthy iPod)...

    Good luck

Some very very cool recommendations here... thanks much guys...

coleby - prog trance a very good idea.. reminds me of some Cor Fijneman.. from way back.. I'll have to do some digging.

gstrum - Excellent call on NIN.. forgot about that. Impressive list as well.. packed with gems I'd forgotten about.

supersonik - didn't know there was chick friendly music out there... But none the less, I'll give it a whirl and thanks very much for the ipod friendly tip... at least its not the discman that I had years ago... those things were very skippy

Here is an older set that I totally enjoyed at the gym yesterday thought some of you might like it as well. Sorry don't have a tracklist for this.

Ronald Ishak - Late Night Disco

Shouldn't this be in GYY? There's an old thread in there about music for exercising.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

                Re: Excerise Music Recommendations

I always find with exercising that if I get into the music I don't push myself as much and if I push myself the music becomes secondary. Yeah Oakies EM's are quite good, Carl Cox works well and helps me push myself more.
