Yes the Javelin is a very very nice unit. Initally I was considering the Nokia E71, now I'm glad I didn't go with that.

- Facebook (though I don't think I'll ever use it)
- Gmail
- Google Talk
- Google Maps
- Opera Mini (a carry forward from my 8700g but the new browser is slick enough to ignore this)

you can still snag it with tmo, the version coming to ATT doesnt have 3G either.

I absolutely LOVE the digital watch/bedside mode. It turns the phone into a mini watch and disable the blinking LED.

i work for the death star so for me to carry an unlocked version of a t-mo phone that we will carry shortly would place me in an area of redicule that i will not soon escape.

so you can disable the flashing service/message indicator light? it just keeps getting better. i charge my bb on my bedside table at night so if i get email or sms i dont have to run down my phone and yes the flashing light does get annoying. i had finally got to a point where i just turn it face down.

yeap the light goes off and the screen dims to a low light (when the charger is plugged in) showing you the time AND the LED goes off. This is a screen of one of the different clock modes

I have yet to load my BB with some goodies... google talk, gmail, facebook, yahoo Go is a given. I wonder if they have tetris .. I'd love to have that on the go.

dusk are you a tweaker? I HAVE to fuck around with my shit (I don't know why I can't fight the urge). And the reason I bring this is up because I downloaded BB OS 5.0 beta for the 8900 and I'm ITCHING to install it.

A neurotic Tweaker btw.... just can't help myself lol.. the first day I picked up my itouch.. I almost broke the bloody thing trying to hack/tweak etc... needless to say I pick up gadgets just to tweak them and if they can't me messed around with then I'm not so interested anymore....

Haven' t had the time to mess about with my BB...yet... .waiting patiently till I have a couple hours off at least

I'm soooooo curious to test install it. heard the performance gains of version 5.0 are unlike any other OS release in the past.

so I managed to (and I still don't know how) scratch the fucking thing. I have an incredible ability to ruin new toys within a week of getting them. Anyone know of any solution to get rid of scratches on glass? (I figured since you can remove scratches from CDs, glass is doable too)
