    Denon DN-S1000 vs. Pioneer CDJ-800

So what do u guys think about that Denon cd player compared to the CDJ-800. I just saw that the DN-S1000 is around 400$ and has a whole bunch of functions and incorporated FX plus the ability to play MP3. It doesnt have the rotating jog wheel as the DN-S5000 but still looks pretty cool.
I was wondering what would you guys rather buy considering the prices, functions, maybe quality , specs, etc.
Doesnt look that bad at all, so far it kinda looks better than the CDJ-800 and its cheaper.
    Opinions ?

I say if you're not going to do turntable tricks, then the CDX-3000 is your best bet. Going to be getting mine real soon. Two cd players for the price of one cdj-800.

I have tried the denon, technics and the pioneers... just like for vinyl nothing compares to technics 1200's.. none of the rest even come close to the cdj1000's

denon were shite IMO...and less expensive for a reason

      Jeff.. who makes the cdx3000?

what about just between those 2 though ?
If had the money , i will def. buy the CDJ-1000 no questions asked.
But between those 2 ? , maybe someone has used both of them before and could tell.

              just my opinion mate.
as i said technics ar the mutts nuts in turntables, but the digital one is shite. Pioneer seems to have the best digi decks around bar none.
even tho the 800's lack some of the 1000 bits and bobs, still are very nice.
and these other digital turntables with all the bells and whistles, just dont add up.. IMO...

Just looks like that denon cd player is not that bad really and for some reason comes with a little more stuff than the CDJ-800 (just the cdj-800 though). The best thing of all of course, they are cheaper.
Dont really like the jog wheel design compared to the CDJ-800 one.

I am also thinking about getting the new denon 1000. Guitar center actually hade one. They are pretty sweet. Kinda complicated to use though b/c there so small. But that goes with getting new decks though. Right now I have the stanton cd decks and they are shit. Just got them to start out with, now it is time to get soemthing better. I link the pioneer 100's also. Pionneer 100 have less effects but definetly easier to use. Tough choice either. Just try them for ur self and make the decision then.

Save up some money for the cdj1000, I have one and my mate has a cdj800, we do a monthly gig togeter so we bring both players along, so I get to test them up against each other quite often. Tighter wheel on the 1000 and mem car, hot cues, wav display.

But this isnt what you asked for, I know, but consider it ;-)
