    Matthew Dekay Band

    I just downloaded a set called Matthew Dekay Band LIve at afterhours street parade 7-8-2004.

    This is the first time I have heard his band....This is really amazing stuff...I definatly dig the live instruments played with dance music......Really kool stuff......

    Anyone know more about them??? Is dekay playing guitar??

          Heard of the band but never heard any live sets. How is it.

                  I started a similiar thread some time ago too...nobody knew of any sets besides this one sadly. I really enjoyed the live elements in the mix and definately need more. :P

                      Hey nobody knows Matthew Dekay for me his the best progressive dj and producer of Netherlands, he starts playing live sets with a real band since last year I think, and he use some guitars and a real drumkit and keybords also. He made excellent music.

                              I agree, it really adds so much to the music....Its pretty wild hearing "higher thoughts" with real instruments.....

                                  I really like what I have heard about the MDK Band. His production and DJ sets are great and then hreaing some if it with live instruments adds some great flavour.

                                              Yeahh! Matthew Dekey is really a top dj!
                                              His performance in Stockholm this summer was 9/10.

                                                  I LOVE the slappin bass in Higher Thoughts.. so funky! Thanks for sharing this.. hope to grab that set soon.
