I use Traktor v3.4.1 with a Vestax VCI-100 controller + 2x CDJs + 2x Cortex HDTT-5000 (total of 6 decks) in my configuration. Most of the times at least 2 of the 4 decks are not used...

Traktor is proved to be very stable and precise. I didn't like the Traktor Pro v1.x interface, dunno why, so I currently stick to the old v3.4.x versions

Been a Traktor user for almost a year now...my overall experience has been nothing but positive.

I'm using the newest version of Traktor Scratch Pro with two Technics M3Ds and two CDJ 400s. I hardly ever use more than 2 decks simultaneously, and when I do I usually sync in the 3rd and 4th deck with my laptop, but I do like to be able to switch up the control medium depending on the mood I'm in.

I also own the nano control series to control FX, loops, and other software parameters.

I have been with tractor since version 1 came out like 8 years ago. Its been a love hate relationship...especially with the first one. Anyway...I am using both TP and Traktor 3 with 2x1210's a DJM 600...cdj 400 and cdj 200 and a korg pad for the midi controls.
Traktor is hands down the best program for mixing music. I have tried them all and none of them have anything on Traktor although I have experienced some issues with the TP I prefer it to Traktor 3 due to the filters...
Has anyone here used traktor 2? There used to be some really cool filters on that that they had scraped when 3 came out...I was so pissed of about that for ages.

mostly latency issues and some little bugs that you probably never even noticed.

I used traktor 2 as well ,i liked the fact that when U would use the filters and other efects there would be a screen display of what the effect you are using might sound like , i thought that was a great hit because It would guide you through the sound, it took me 6 months to learn how to use that for my sets , when i finally got it the new version took it out

Yeah exactly...you could practically make a filter of your own with it...IMO its shit that they try and emulate decks they should aim to give you more freedom than you get with decks and a mixer.

Because it didn't fit was he was trying to do? Or maybe he's still stuck on the whole two decks and mixer deal and didn't try to use it to it's fullest potential?

Just take a look at all the top jocks who are supporting it.

With all the different ways of DJing these days, it's sometimes hard to figure out who plays what. And why. But over the course of the past ten years, Native Instruments has been developing one of the most powerful DJ tools ever to see the light of day: Traktor Pro.

No need to be a fan boy or anything, just because your favorite DJ doesn't support it doesn't mean it's a bad product.
                              Piss off you phucking wanksters!
