    Scope = win

    That Ric McClelland sure is on fire right now. His "Strung Out" 2009 remix is one of my favorite tracks so far this year. Brilliant.

        the bassline on strung out sucks. it's a wimpy sound and doesn't really sit with the rest of it.
        i like how it was used on the nubreed cd though, maybe cause it's not 8 minutes long? haha

            Agree 100%. Funny cuz think he released it originally in 2007 without much hype at all. Now it's been hammered by evryone for a year+ strong.

              1. Mexicans/Latinos from the South bringing drugs and killings n' shit.
              2. African Americans cause mos def they are raging a race war and want to occupy America like how the plebs occupied Wall St.
              3. Iranians/Afghans/Any one of middle eastern origin to be quite frank, cause you know Islam...
              4. North Koreans/Chinese cause you know everything...

                haha - i feel exactly the opposite ! i like the bassline but i think those strings stick out of the mix in a weird way. sounds like the reverb and delays he used may have made some of those notes sit flat in the register the bass is in.....

                i could be trippin tho

                  i really enjoy his productions, but i agree both that bassline is lacking and the strings sounds really out of tune with the bassline

                    LOVE SCOPE,
                    but don't think the aforementioned track represents his best work at all.

                      The original is class. Don't care too much for this mix.
