That ending was hysterical. There were actual gales of laughter that I haven't heard from audience since The Happening.
I guess it's a warning that any movie with The in front of an adverb is pretty much doomed to failure.Comment

Cage sometimes gets an unfair rap he has been in numerous good films, sadly most of them were in the early part of his career

wtf has happened to him? i havent watched anything of his that was very good since really leaving las vegas. now that was a great movie. unfortunately i think about everything after that is probably generic, or crap.Comment

There's a bit too much trashing of Cage here. Lord of War I liked more than I thought I would, and Ghost Rider was bearable. I also liked his cameo as Fu Manchu in the Grindhouse trailer She Wolves of the SS. Even this wasn't that bad - it was the ending that killed it.
But ever since he won the Oscar for Leaving Las Vegas, he's kind of stopped really trying.Comment

Forgot about Lord of War, did enjoy that.
Ghost Rider ... no ... ever since City of Angel I notice Cage has been typecast/fallen into a certain way of characterisation portraying sappy characters with his fucking doleful eyes.
