Fucking hell ... how the fuck does this work, I don't understand why they're guilty. Why not sue Google? I use it all the time to look for shit on filesharers.

Even if they do manage to shut down TPB, there will be something like 20 others that will do the same or something slightly different.

The genie's out of the bottle, and the people that have investments in "intellectual property" are desperately trying to put it back in.

the judgement is based on pressure from American Corporate money ... if the Swedish has it ways with their law the sentence would probably not stick after appeal

I guess most of the people involved in these legal procedures don't really fully undestand this phenomena. Free flow of information is here to stay. Trying to shut down pyrate bay looks to me as a symbolic action, they cannot hold back the avalanche!
Even if the site gets shut down, there are many other... not to mention all those more discret p2p programs without ads and pubiclity. You guys know that
