My kitty Sylvester had tests done yesturday and he's showing positive for FIV. He needs a dna test to confirm, but it's not looking good. I'm so upset. He was a stray in my neighborhood and we brought him to a different clinic than our usual to have him tested, neutered, and vaccinated. I specifically asked them to do a feline aids test and just assumed they did when they told me all of his tests were negative. Turns out they didn't test for fiv and now he's been exposed to my other cats and countless other outdoor kitties for a year. I feel like shit right now.
Awww...I didn't mean A holes, as in "A holes"...I meant it like, as in, my friends....
