sequenced samples of purported Bigfoot DNA and found that mitochondrial DNA, which is inherited from the mother, was identical to human mitochondrial DNA.
^ Well that's a sensational article. Just because someone claims to have been to heaven doesn't mean that it's "Proof of Heaven". I and I'm sure plenty of others have seen heaven using psychedelics and I don't believe in heaven. Just because your brain tells you something doesn't mean its true. A subjective experience by a single person doesn't constitute proof.
The burden of proof lies on the person claiming heaven to be there. I'm not claiming heaven isn't there, for all I know it exists. Really heaven is such a difficult to study concept that I don't think we'll ever get to the bottom of if it exists or not. Just as it's not a logical thing to claim that "my experience tells me heaven isn't there", it's not a logical thing to say "my experience tells me heaven is there". That's basically what his argument is.
If I wrote a book saying "heaven doesn't exist", then yeah you'd be right in calling me out on that point.
