Our new neighbor stopped by last night & introduced herself with a bag of cookies and then invited me over "anytime for tea." I didn't even know they were in because we never saw a moving truck. She's Asian with a thick accent and she bowed and folded her hands together as she left, so I bowed back at her and said thank you, is that correct?

I nearly went bankrupt a few years ago, when a film company here didn't pay me . They ended up paying in dribs and drabs over years which of course doesn't work if you have to buy materials. I never fully recovered from that.


It was beyond frustrating, not being able to take work because I couldn't fulfil it. So I really do know what you mean
