flickin through channels and came across this show "Monsters Inside Me" & the 2nd story was of a 16 yr old girl who went swimming in the St John's River in FL and one time got water up her nose; she had a brain eating amoeba (Naegleria fowleri) enter her brain and she died a week later, just after getting her driver's license. (her parents now distribute nose plugs to families on weekends in the summer) ........... next one in Tampa, triple E virus (which they're saying is mostly always from FL mosquitoes). Horrifying stories, horrific show, the doctors are all doing spinal taps too late & sending extremely sick kids home

this one lady, her son will be partially blind the rest of his life because she ate a normal portion of rare-cooked lamb in a restaurant that contained bacteria while she was in her first trimester of her pregnancy.

amazing any of us survive this world really with so many natural dangers (parasites, amoebas, fungus, bacteria)...... besides how people hurt each other.

I need to just turn this off, so much detailed animation, drama, medical info, hard to look away.
