I did a food diary for my nutrition class. Today, about an average day for me, I ate 3700 calories. I don't understand how I am still just muscle and bone, with barely any fat on my body.

Enjoy it while you can, your 30's will make gaining fat easier... Then kids come and it will be even easier!

To make things worse the fat doesn't go to your biceps or calves, it goes to your belly

What I am the least looking fwd to is that dr's visit everyone has to have when they reach a certain age.... I'm not sure if it's 35 or 45 but you all know what I am referring to.

I don't know for sure if it's a requirement when a person gets a physical as they grow older or not. Audrey how old are you? and do you live in the US? It may be different in different countries, kind of like the purity of punk rock .
