Re: Random T**ugh,s in Slovenia
According to the lifestyle in San Diego that would be the case... I remember feeling that way all the time there...

Raw: Find something where you wake up to everyday and say fuck yeah I am going to enjoy this. Right now all I can say is no matter how much money an organisation that pays you to be their slave, it will never overcome a personal sense of satisfaction, just materialistic bullshit that you get over in a few weeks.
Fuck I'm in love with Maya Jane Coles, she delivers some wicked tunes.

Raw: I suggest trying to start each day "with the end in mind." That's from Dale Carnegie. Think about what you value, how you want to be remembered after you die one day. May seem grim, but it helped me. Life is what you make it. It's up to you to create a life that fulfilling and passion based. A healthy dose of faith goes a long way too... It's always interesting to me that people are so hung up on there not being a "god," even when they are absolutely, unequivocally and incredibly miserable. not saying that's you, just saying for the sake of saying.

Re: Random T**ugh,s in Slovenia
Hello,
The Project is about the exportation of 100,000 barrels of Light Crude
Oil daily out from Iraq to Turkey through my client's company in Iraq
at the rate of $92.00 a barrel. This amount to $9,200,000 daily. I ask
for your support as a foreigner to handle this business project with my
client and you are not expected to invest in Iraq
If yes, let me know and we will discuss this project proper.

Re: Random T**ugh,s in Slovenia
It seems like working is basically selling your time (and life) for money. It really depends on how important money and the stability it provides are worth. I'm trying to be a doctor (doing med school applications now), but its scary committing to 5+ years of schooling. Like many things in life, I'm taking a leap of faith.
Thanks for the advice guys. I've always wanted to read some of Dale Carnegie's books, but haven't gotten a chance to yet. I was raised with a Catholic background, but I can't seem to put my faith in a god. I think I'd be happier if I did, but I feel like I'd be burying my head in the sand if I disregarded my views on the world/universe. I've been reading about Buddhism though, and it really seems to resonate with a lot of ideas that have been floating around in my head. I'm interested in learning more about different religions, I feel like there are a lot of great philosophies and ideas to be learned from each.Comment

Re: Random T**ugh,s in Slovenia
I like to mediate, then observe what is being acknowledged and what is not bring acknowledged.
If your passion is to help sick people then you are where you need to be. If you would be a dr. regardless of the pay, then you are in the right place. It took me 30 years to realize that pursuing a certain career because of the $$ is the key to misery. If you're not fully committed and passionate about your career, it's the wrong one.
Thats not to say though that we learn a lot from the wrong jobs. Having worked about 20 different jobs since I was 15, all of the experiences were valuable... And a person can have multiple passions....all IMHO.
