you should find another cleaning lady. my point:
- she is paid to clean not to leave her lunch for you to find, much less clean
- she should dump on her own time not yours, not only should she not dump at your house she defo should not dump in the master bath.
- obviously she doesnt have to be the quickest of cats in the best of times to be a good cleaning lady, but one should have the afterthought of cleaning her mess....after all she is cleaning lady. is it not what she does for employment.
- if i were to under-perform in my position, you can rest assured i would hear about it. if you do not discuss this with her not only are yourself but her a disservice as well. who knows perhaps she did it on purpose and this leaves you saying nothing. cleaning lady - 1, you - 0. she is sitting at the local pub where all the cleaning ladies go after a long day of dumping in the master baths of their clients having a big laugh whilst you are left to plunge her excrement out of your toilet. has she ever asked for a raise that you denied?
sorry, i'm only kidding. do not take the donald trump approach to this. i'm sure she didnt do it on purpose, however i would leave her one as well.Comment

One horrible thought has occurred to me, and that is that perhaps it was not her that left the turd, but my wife or I, and she's telling people the story of the client who left a clogged toilet for her to clean. I'm positive it wasn't me -- that's not my preferred bathroom for that sort of thing -- and my wife claims it wasn't her, though, so I'm pretty comfortable pinning it on her.
The other thing I don't get, though, is why she picked the master. Our master bedroom and bathroom are both wide open, such that the only door to the toilet is the door to the master bedroom itself. If we had happened to come home at that moment, well, it would have been more than a little awkward. You're never more vulnerable than when you're sitting there with your pants at your ankles, that's what I always say.
I am sympathetic to her situation, though. When you gotta go, you gotta go, and having seen what she left for me, she clearly had to go.Comment
