Huh?? You can call Chomsky a lot of things - but irrational is about the last thing that would apply to him. If anything, he is unnecessarily rational and over-logical at times.

      Fucking linguists....

very true krelm. People will not debate with him becaue he does use straight logic and facts. lol.

great guy to listen to, but a loon-toon at times. His best work was early in his life, he got caught up with his own agenda. I have read many of his books, and only been to one presentation. really really amazing fellow ... but a nut in a bag.

        but i love those.

i agree with the comments on noam chomsky

i am currently doing a analysis critique about one of his books in wich he makes an analysis about amserica at war

he is true to his nature as linguist and exceeds in analysis based upon logical reasoning.a brilliant guy but still he probes that even brilliant men can be wrong and idealistic

He is hooked on Vietnam, and can't seem to get out of the 60's. Good linguistics doesn't necessarily mean anything. His motto = vote against republicans.

What a joke. I saw him give a speech on CSPAN2.

            Irrational. Literally.

Here are two blogspots and a website that constantly keep their eyes on Chomsky. It seems to me, from Chomsky's consistent pattern of slip-ups, that the man is one of the most irrational, discredited linguists in history.

this blog is dedicated to the permanent and total discrediting of the work of noam chomsky and his fellow travelers. VIVA LA COUNTERREVOLUTION!

I could go on and on about this piece of trash. He distorts reality, and has blatant misconceptions on why we take part in certain obstacles. He bases his work on American imperialism, when in fact we are trying to save people from tyranny, especially when war is involved with protecting ourselves as well. He has a strange process in which he comes to his own conclusions.

Did ya not read the rest of the sentence, that is relative to why we went into Iraq?

Yeah, I read that, I was giving you a free pass on that one though since I didn't want to get into the tired, winner-less debate of whether or not Saddam was truely a threat to our country.
