    Dusk: Could it be your plugins causing the problem? Maybe try starting up Firefox with a new empty profile?

        just tested it out... cannot edit the bookmarks at all. every time i delete a bookmark or add one and restart firefox, it keeps my bookmarks like i never made any changes at all. i am not sure if the bookmarks file within firefox is locked or anything but this is beyond annoying.

        going back to safari.

                I tried disabling a few plug-ins with no joy. However I'll give a new empty profile a go... don't really wanna give up on Firefox yet
