farewell to a NBA legend, and one who true star is seen moreso in heartfelt emotion than anyone. all your charity work, your effort, your ethic.... we will be lucky to see it again.

god bless DM. it was nothing short of brilliant watching you nearly all my life. i had tears in my eyes watching that interview from the trainers table.

Mutombo was a class act through & through.
I was so stunned & sad when I saw him go down in Game 2 in Portland
When they brought out the stretcher, you knew it was very serious coming from an 18 year veteran.

My fondest memories are of course his famous finger wag and when he carried the 8 seed Nuggets on his back and defeated the 1 seed Supersonics, he paved the way for the first of Houston Rockets championship in 93-94.

watched this guy from his days in Georgetown, what a hell of a basketball player, but more importantly a hell of a MAN.. this is definitely not the end of us hearing from this guy, he has bigger and better things he will accomplish

one of the last few who came from an era where the NBA meant something... now its full of 18 year old kids with no respect for the game.
