don't even know where to start........they destroyed the main room at space. met up with code11 he said they came on at 3..... i got in at 4:30 the place was pretty packed sharam was picking it up nicely dropped some badass shit. wanna say around 6ish dubfire came on a tore the place apart much respect for his music selection. dubfire closed out the main room with two mixes of unkle-reign the last one was trafik's mix so sweet.

went up to the terrace(if you've never been i don't know what to say) off the wall... sharam came on at 10 noticed dubfire was packing up and left... we stayed till 10:30 and crawled out

its been two years since i've seen them at space almost forgot what they can do to that club.....THEY FUCKING OWN SPACE......one of the best clubnights ever in my book

you know simons closes at 2 now? saw diggers and jimmy van m there like 3-4 years ago on 4 of july and they had to kick everyone out including digweed.

I swear to god I don't think any clubs in G'ville are allowed to have air-conditioning. That ordinance must've been enacted right before the 2am closing time. For real though every place up there is hot as balls.

I'm going to see Deep Dish on Saturday at Fur Nightclub for an 8 hour set. Should be off the hook...especially at this new club. If anyone from the area hasn't checked it out...you definitely should. I've never clubbed in NYC or Miami...but i heard that FUR can contend with the other mega clubs...siiiiick

I was there as well and Deep Dish tore it up. First let me start by saying that I am not really a big Deep Dish fan and it was my first time seeing them and I was blown away. Mostly by Ali. Sharam had his moments when he wasnt playing cheesy crap (i.e. the Blur Song 2 booty and the flashance/money for nothing mashup and some horrible disco house crap at peak time). Ali was bad ass, He played some pretty dark twisted shit. His peak time tracks were out of control. I hung out with saiko pod and his lady most of the night and had a blast. I had a great time overall but I hated most of the people there. It was so crowded most of the time and there is no place to sit and relax. And most of the people there were cheeseballs. They were just out to get fucked up and to "see and be seen". And there really isnt anywhere so sit unless you are in VIP (which costs a ton) or wait for the patio to open up at like 5. Even then there are few places to sit. We left at 10:30 am when Sharam dropped the "flashdance/money for nothing" mash-up for the second time in the night. Why anyone would play that crappy track is beyond me. It was time to leave anyway cause the crowd seemed to be getting scarier and scarier by the minute. (There were at least 200 to 300 people still there when we left!!!)

last tracks vocals "were out of control, out of control, ...one bad mother, were out of control" looped over and over
one of the last tracks had a male vocal singing/talking and had the hook "we got you"

If you have the chance to see Deep Dish in the near future dont even hesitate to go. You will regret it if not. If you dont believe me then
check out Deep Dish - Live @ Panama, Amsterdam (10-23-2004). The first 30-40 minutes are slamming and they played most of the tracks on the set at Space. Send me an IM on soulseek and I will hook you up with it. My username is same as here.

Nice... two reviews. One thing about Deep Dish is that they know how to work a crowd, def. Someone, oo.Garrick mentioned a zabiela party coming up? I dont know if I would compare a Zabiela set, with deep dish. Damn we need a good party in NYC...WTF fuckin crobar is a ll snobby posh bs, occaisionally they have good people, but you cant get in unless your suited up? I mean what happened to when you could just where casual clothes...twilo style? I think DT and Steve Lawler are spinning at Roxy on Thanksgiving eve... I cant wait. Last time I was in there though I was in disbelief at how cheesy the set i was listening too was from Ferry Corsten...people were yelling his name like he was actually playing something good. Nah fuck that Im sure Lawler and Dt will attract a decent crowd...
