                              1987 at the same track and same corner

                              1959 le mans saw 79 die.

                              and there was an IRL or champo car race where adrian fernandez lost a tire and suspension over the wall, (not guaranteeing, but i think 12 died or were seriously hurt.)

                              few other disgustingly close calls throughout the american and european race tracks.

                                          word. to think of the physics involved in a car flying at 200 mph in to a MESH FENCING , insane engineering. wonder how many tons of force per inch a nascar hits a wall with at that speed.
