    who has better TRACK SELECTION?

they are both great dj's.. hence one has MUCH better mixing techniques than the other, but for those here, I have a question that could classify as a poll.

Who has better track selection in their sets?

    1) James Zabiela

    or

    2) Luke Fair

PS: please try to answer by artist name so we could do some sort of count.

Luke Fair but it all depends on which style you like. I think Zabiela changes his tracks more often and uses more tracks in his sets

true that... they have similar genres though, but its a question for everyone's personal taste when it comes to music style

skahound: ravioli of course... any pasta that has meat in it is naturally better than pasta without meat  ... But of course, Beefaroni beats them all. Anyway... I'd say that Zabiela has the better track selection. Luke can surely put together a quality set in terms of flow and overall good-to-listen-to sounds. But I'd say that since Zabiela plays the more odd tracks that push the envelope of what people can dance too, I personally think he has "better" track selection simply because he's shining the spotlight on music that even we (the fans of a genre of music less than 10% of the population listens to.. probably far less) haven't heard before. Even though it's obvious Zabiela is a better DJ and more intelligent about editing/adding effects/creating craziness on the dance floor, I personally think he also picks better tracks even though a lot of people say he simply plays some weird a$$ $*&#

Re: who has better TRACK SELECTION?

i believe zabiela is better. his track selections are very "undergrond." i think he is up there with sasha and digweed. he got 15 on the dj list which is complete bs. that stupid list is just a popularity contest.....
                      should have been

                      1 digweed
                      2 sasha
                      3 zabiela
                      4 deep dish
There is no funk without the bass.
