You know something strange, you will listen to these again and again and at some stage you will change your mind. With Hernans sets they have this uncanny thing of changing every time you listen to them. Well that's the way it works for me anyway
As in the tracks move round ?
Didi .. you'll have to stop taking that herbal medicine, it seems to be playing with your mind

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

so after much digestion of both these parts i have to say it's a great set he played that night! I like the first part better cause it's got a bit more melody and such which is so rare these days.
After only truely being introduced to Hernan Cattaneo's djing lately after catching his performance at ThisIsLondon here in Toronto back in March, and after the review of some of his latest recordings courtesy of MS (!!) i have to say that this guy truely deserves the status he has gained as a Progressive Master!

It is a tough call but I am leaning towards Pt 2 too. Pt 1 is a great warmup and chockful of melodies, but there are parts where I felt it drifted a bit. Pt 2 was just relentless. Di's right though, on repeated listens you keep hearing more sounds in the mixes.

Oh. My. God. James absolutely obliterated the island tonight. The last time there was so much destruction, Obi Wan Kenobi had to take a seat on the Falcon after the Death Star said "hi and bye" to Leia's homeworld.
I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

i liked part 1 much better then part 2
part 2 was good too...it was very trippy but was just a bit repetitive and drawn out in the beginning...
part1 was a masterpiece....programming, mixing and general flow was an 11 out of 10
one of the best live sets that has ever come out though....very kool hc shared this
