Disco is along the lines of music which depends on dance and it is nothing much different from the other music genres. It is difficult to know about the actual meaning of the word disco. One of the disco style clubs opened by DJ David Mancuso in the New York in 1970 was known as The Loft. It was a private and members only allowed hub belonging to its own country. It was in the 1970s that the disco oriented songs were introduced and at the same time was given enough importance. The first disco radio show was premiered by WPIX-FM in New York City in 1974.
