I keep driving and immediately after another turn in the road, pull into a mansion's driveway and park behind some bamboo tree's. Seconds later a cop car w. its lights and siren on speeds passed the driveway. I sit there mulling over what to do next because the cop could easily see me on it's way back sitting in this driveway, not to mention the owner could walk out, although it looked like nobody was home. I

This in a nutshell I have done! I was not proud of myself but ah well at least it worked in my favour and I didn't get a ticket, the downside is I had to wait in someone else drive way for a good 20 minutes cause I was not sure if the cop would drive back, of course with made me really really late for work on top of the orignal being late for work and hence speeding in the first place

But good on you florida.. important thing is you didn't get caught

I agree with those that point out that point out that the repercussions if you get caught doing this can be bad, but c'mon guys...aren't things like these what keep life just that extra little bit exciting? Don't be so afraid, live a little!

i drive mellow, and abide forsure... but the fucking popo camp spots so much out here... it's utterly absurd. they rigidly exploit every place on the road where it is easy to slip up and speed etc. and they are getting surgical with this shit. fuck them and their quotas.

One time, I was running late for a job interview (looking for first job after graduating from university) and was speeding out of my community. I got pulled over at a speed trap and was asked the usual: how fast where you going?... why where you speeding?... I just answered the questions straightforward explaining I was running a tad late for my first job interview. Lucky for me, it was a young cop, sympathetic to my situation since probably he himself got hired recently, let me off the hook

yeah. that's happened to me several times; just be cooperative and tell 'em what they what to hear. it's a moving violation, which is a hassle, but nothing worth appealing for unless his reasons for puling you over are a little dodgy.

my father has a purple heart insignia on his plates from nam, so when he gets pulled over, the cops just show him gratitude and let him go -- even the butthurt pigs -- now that's honor. around here though, there's a grip of asshole cops along side the valiant ones. if you encounter an asshole pig, and he give you a bogus ticket, but you have pull 'cos you know higher ranked officers and attorneys, you can make a potent referral which is nice; usually they work. it's all who you know.
