Sakio- any update on this and are you going? I just want to make sure its confirmed. Glad to see its listed on Sasha's site, but not listed on John's. Also, whats the scoop on the venue? I went to Dreamz' site and its a hip hop club....seems odd coming from liquified. Im 95% sure Im flying down for this.

I was there. Worst party I've ever witnessed S&D play in the 12+ years I've been following them. Not an exaggeration.

I couldn't take it any longer by 3:15 am. Had to leave.

driving from orlando should have went to miami instead

for me it was the worst two hours from digweed until near the end

Did not drive, I flew. No chance in hell I would go to Miami over Atlanta. In all my years experience, Atlanta has one of the best scenes anywhere. And Liquified usually throws top-notch events. Unfortunately this was not the case this time around. It was the worst performance from both of them I've ever witnessed. And that says a lot because I've seen them more times than I can count over 12+ years.

The venue sucked. It was a ghetto club in a strip mall. Obviously chosen because they could stay open later than clubs in midtown, but I don't think it was the right choice. The room was too big and the sound not loud enough. I much prefer to be in a smaller club with low ceilings and a pounding sound system.

The crowd sucked. 18 year old douchebag ravers with glow sticks. They had no understanding of what they were attending. When Digweed first went on, kids on the dancefloor next to me started cheering that they wanted Sasha. Nice. Way to be gratious, people.
People rarely cheered while I was there. Some were dancing but nobody was really getting into it. There was zero vibe in the room. I actually felt uncomfortable because the room wasn't crowded enough. It was like everyone had too much space to themselves. Being in a packed club might have its own annoyances, but one thing is for sure.... the vibe is usually better.

The music was boring. S&D played nothing but techno the entire time I was there. Their set didn't go anywhere. No vocals. No melodies. They played lifeless techno track after lifeless techno track for hours. I stuck around waiting for them to break out the hot tracks and actually do something with the night. But, alas, by 3:15 AM they had not shifted gears. I couldn't take it any more. I had to leave. And that's a poor statement because I've always stayed to the end of every performance involving either one of those guys every time I've seen them.

It was one of the worst events I've ever seen S&D play. A lot worse than when they played here in Orlando at the House of Blues recently. At least during that party they played better music. The sound system was terrible and again, there wasn't much of a vibe... but the music was great. I am actually convinced that S&D thought the party sucked so bad from the start that they wouldn't waste their efforts one ounce. Why play good music to a crowd full of douchebag raver kids wanking themselves off with glowsticks and cheering for Sasha when its Digweed's turn to play? That's just flat-out rude. It says to me they were more interested in being in a dark room to play with toys than actually listening to good music.

If you want to talk about parties with a great vibe, then the last time S&D played in Atlanta at the Tabernacle is a great example. That party was awesome. They totally rocked it and people went nuts. Or when Sasha played at Wetbar for Halloween 2 years ago. That was an incredible night, too. The big difference for me was crowd reaction. Its just a better experience when you have a crowd that is getting involved in the night, and I wasn't getting this from the event at Dreamz.

gotta take the good with the bad......i hear ya

that pissed my off too when digs opened and the candy tards are yelling sasha

but what do you expect from kids
