how do i block certain program from the internet? like messenger, is just that some friend ask me so he can control his employees also to be sure they are not wasting time and so, also the messenger virus things and that...
anyone know how to do it?
i was thinking on a firewall but does it have password protection? and wich one will you recomend me?

I use net limiter 2 but I'm not sure how well that would work for what you are trying to do.

In an office setting this is usually accomplished by a proxy, that will also block the web based messengers. The simplest solution is to uninstall msn and remove administrator privileges, you could also use a personal firewall on each computer to block it. But they will still be able to use it with something like meebo.com
