The US Constitution-- Does it still exist today??

Well jokers here we go. Now we can leave the gay thread alone and discuss it here.

My stance is that the constitution in the US has already been burned severly because the Patriot Act I and II. As well as the tax code adding more fuel to the old document.

Constitutionalists are viewed as potential terrorists as well.

    Good Luck Boys and Ladies.

It still exists. However, the executive branch has attempted to subvert it, no doubt. Both the Bush administration and now the Obama administration.

Congress is simply a bunch of fraudsters for sure.

The unfortunate thing, I believe, is the people have no idea of the responsibility they have vested in the Constitution. We are in this mess because we truly have a representative government. No offense intended in that statement but I believe it to be so.

The article is replete with fallacious reasoning, and the conclusion it draws -- which you evidently share -- is just not warranted by this one pamphlet. Reactionary to the point of absurdity.

            For example:

See If You Encounter and examples of suspected terrorists.

What the FBI agents and police officers are to look for include "Someone who makes numerous references to the U.S. Constitution." So if a highway patrol officer flashes his lights and orders you to pull over to the side and stop, and he says he will arrest you because the bumper sticker on your car says "Preserve the Bill of Rights," and you say you have a Constitutional right to free speech, he could brand you a terrorist suspect.
No, that's not what it means at all, and it's asinine for the author of the article to suggest it.

I don't know much about the constitution but it seems to me its a bit like The Bible. Everyone seems to interpret it to suit their own agenda

I think our founding fathers did not intend the way things are in the US today to be the way they are. In fact, things are going back to the way they were when they fought for freedom.
