Hope the recorders will be out again. As far as Tom's mixes maybe not everyone's cup of tea but hardly think they lack substance imo

I am pretty hardcore I pay attention to plenty.. just never did it for me. always seemed kind of commercial and lacking something. Just like his new cd opening with such an awful One More Tune vocal at the beginning haha everyone that I know that has heard that just started laughing and fast forwarded through that haaha has kind of that Steve Porter mainstream not really deep feeling.

Respect guys, as always Jeff's right on the ball re: his interpretation of Tom's style.
I'll echo his view in that Tom doesn't 'shackle' himself to a particular flavour or approach when behind the decks and while that isn’t particularly unique given the breath and depth that is electronic music for me what separates him is his passion and attention to emotion when laying it down.
You need only listen to the set with him & Dana to hear just how much he values the experience and vibe given to him by the punters and for me that’s the hallmark of an incredibly high quality DJ.
When he was down here in Sydney he played a closing set at a festival and absolutely tore it to pieces – some people are still talking about it! I look forward to listening to this.
