Google Wave

Wave is Google's new communication tool coming out later in the year which attempts to integrate e-mail, IM, photo sharing, blogging, etc all in one place. The keynote from their developers conference focused on the product and how it's going to work. The video is quite long and dry at parts but it's worth flipping through and checking out some of the features if you are a fan of gmail or Google.

Just caught a little bit of the preview... not bad. However I can see my parents pulling out their hair if I introduced them to this lol

I agree, the hard part will be getting friends and family to adopt the technology. It also looks useful at the enterprise level but unfortunately I don't see the hospital I work for embracing it!
