well actually this is a good movie coz was real, anyway to be honest i do not remember the original name of the movie, but is not that one with angelina jolie, but anyway....its a about of one of the famoust hackers that have seen on this world i think....and he stole a program that could make a disaster to the whole world it could shutdown wotever he want accesess to banks CIA files etc etc....pretty cool indeed....i will check it out to put the original name....
im wondering if the program still exist? :P

well I think what digger is talking about is part 2 and you guys are refering to part 1. In my opinion, Part 2 is MUCH better in that they dont have candy popping ravers dressed in TRON suits hacking the planet.... stupid shit IMO... check out Part 2, its much better and more believable

Mitnick was one of the greatest hackers of ALL times. I've read so much shit about him.... while Operation TAKEDOWN was never officially labeled as hackers part 2, its rumored that it was a sequel to the original one...

actually what mitnick did in reality and how we was tracked down by Shimumora is even better.... I am not sure if they still have it on www.takedown.com but at one point they had posted entire TELNET sessions of how Tsumitomu was chasing Mitcnick. If you are an average telnet user, it would have been amazing to read up on some of the material.

the book (which I personally haven't read yet) describes in PHENOMENAL detail about the hacks and tracks that the two of them played in this cat and mouse game..... details of several telnet sessions are qupted in the book and pasted on the website too....

if you like to know about hackers..... you'd defo wanna get your hands on this book

I liked the first one, Hackers, sure corny cheesy whatever pure entertainment imo ... Takedown: Hackers 2 I actually had at one point and never watched it.... thanks for the reminder I'll have to check it out.
