mp3 / folders/ ipod

I have a set of mps in a folder that form an album.

when i push them onto the ipod they all turn up as separate files - even though in the itunes/winamp screen it states they all belong to the same folder/album.

Doesn't matter if i use itunes or winamp to load the pod.

Any solutions?

(I realize this may be a 'welcome to 2002' issue)

is the album info set in the mp3s' tags?

as far as I can tell - and it shows that way in winamp/itunes.

If the album is tagged in info you should be good to go. Sometimes you may need to have the tracks numbered in sequence as well. Or else it may play alphabetically instead.
