After an exciting and informative stint as head of A & R for CITRIC Recordings in 2008 Alex Fish (Holosound) brings us Holobound Theory. The idea with the label is to take the Holosound viewpoint on all the most exciting aspects of dance music and incorporate them into a digital label that doesn't limit itself with genre boundaries. An international collaborative effort in the truest sense, Holobound Theory practices a very open border policy with regards to the artists it showcases. Coupling established artists from the United States and abroad with talented and driven up and comers, Theory aims to bring a little bit of everything together to form a stable of solid releases from other artists as well as serve as a mouthpiece for all things Holosound.

"November" signifies the inaugural release on Holobound Theory and is the first major release for this talented young man who hails from Tel Aviv. Nir has developed quite a stir with his mixes on http://FriskyRadio.com/ and regularly travels to play in his home away from home, Paris. We here at HT are very honored to present this solid piece of progressive goodness that reminds us that there is still much love indeed in the middle east :-)

Nir Mizrahi brings us a progressive tune here that's classy and perfect for summer. Strings, strong percussion, a pumping bassline and a delicate piano line ensure this uplifting piece of music will stay relevant to many DJs throughout the terrace season.

Mike Kiraly, no stranger to the world of production after having his "Kered and Kiraly" mix of Lazar's Heat of the Moment selected by Pete Tong's essential selection in 2007, brings his darker, tech house sensibilities to this mix. As always, it's amazing how much new production he brings to the table, only subtly teasing the most iconic elements of the original in different parts. This is a great high energy, yet slightly darker envisioning of "November."

Aber, hailing from Peru, immediately dives into his energetic peak-time treatment of the original. Bringing harder drums together with a carefully manipulated melody from the original, he builds steadily throughout this progressive beast ensuring we won't soon confuse the land of Macchu Pichu with anything but all-out banging, hands in the air moments.

Python takes their time wading into what ultimately becomes an ethereal tech-prog workout by using a slowly moving cutoff on the main melody that builds into a subtle percussive groove throughout the rest of the song. The breakdown sees them make good use of the choral sample and couple it with the beautiful piano of the original to create something that fits just right in the middle between tech house and progressive.
