Any reports ?

Downside : According to the bedrock board Jimmy Van M didn't turn up and Sasha was 20 mins late and took a further 20mins to play his 1st track after entering the booth. So you only got 80 out of his scheduled 120 mins ... so I'm glad i gave it a miss.

Upside : Diggers played a vortexy 2-hours + Andy Newland got to cover from Jimmy, so I bet Andy enjoyed his day out !

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

I wonder if there is any laws or regulations were djs should show up and be on time , If they get paid by the hour does that mean he gets part of his check cut off for not showing up on time , or does it mean that next time he is late he gets a late penalty fee for doing that to the event.

in 1992 there was a similar case to this in which Michael jackson was supposed to play in Peru ,, Michael jackson didnt play and people got their money returned , but there is also the story of rod stewart , you guys heard of rod stewart he used to sing this , i like this song

Any ways he didn't sing and didn't return the money he charged the owners of the event , becuase he got paid in advance , apparently artist of this league charge beforehand . When the producers of the event saw that he didnt sell enough tickets and that this was going to be more of a loss they decided to cancel it .......to make this long story short , they didn't return the money to the people that payed for their ticket . So the people sued the organizers and the organizers sued rod stewart . In the end he did returned part of the money and the peopel got part of their money but they are still trying to get the rest back .

But I guess this only happens when an artist is big becuase it involves alot of money and also prestige , I bet if it was an artist of smaller caliber thsi wouldn't have been mentioned , I wonder if an artist arrives late in brazil if he would get penalized , especially because in brazil everyone is late to everything , actually if you arrive at a meeting at the agreed time , you are considered a nerd and if you ask the person why is she late you are considered rude. I know this becuase I used to have brazilian roomate and he was late to everything , I haven't seen him in a while , maybe i should call him

So all of this brings me to the point , Why is Mr. Alexander Paul Coe always late ? he is from Penarlâg, Wales ... are people from Wales late all the time ? it could be a cultural thing , I've heard this alot of times , does he need to buy a new rolex or is his stuff to heavy to carry? I don;t think is cool because it spoils it for the fans , that are eager to see their fav artist play . Luciano is never late , that is why i like luciano , he is such a good dj and a great headlabel manager , his label cadenza just released mirko locos latest work " seventy nine" check out "toulgaris" is a great track wchich reminds me that there is a track that luciano did with guy gerber called "arcencie"l , I think sasha played it once last month is a good track , maybe if sasha would have not been late he would had time to play it. See thats why being on time makes a difference

Some very valid points ... unless it's out of their control (e.g. the police closing down Cream an hour early) then surely part of the fee should be held back ... I bet it isn't.

Sasha won't be arsed about missing the odd pay day (there's enough of them about in the summer) .. it's all about professionalism, reliability isn't always his forte. The daft thing is that when he's really keen on a gig he actually does turn up early - he did so at Sankeys and played on for the best part of an hour.

Until he starts getting fined or bad feedback from fans i'm sure he won't change

Suppose it's similar to a football player who will walk slowly around a pitch, not track back and can't be arsed tackling ... but then scores a great goal and all is forgotten.

                        from Sashas twitter

'Apologies to all fans & everyone w/Global Gathering & Bedrock for the short set due to his booking agent’s miscommunication on set times'.

There you have it, they dont call him Alex no show for nothing. However. that's why we like him so much as he is sublime when he does turn up and tw*ts it out

At least fessies aren't too bad, as you any always catch someone else. Totally different on a club night though totally fooked.

Hope everyone who did go had a good time.

                          2 mins 32 secs
