nope, it's territorial restrictions, somehow always to the disadvantage of us stupid Europeans. It irritates me, it's like holding the sausage before the dogs mouth with a rod and making him chase it without result.

Totally agree with you Yao ... There are so many tracks that I still have not managed to get my hands on due to the restriction bollocks thing

I am not sure what happens with the other digital downloads sites, but I have also seen territory restricted releases on Amazon

It means the song isn't able to be sold in certain countries, probably due to licencing restrictions with the label it's on.

I think most of us are aware of that, nevertheless it freaks me out hearing a great track that has not been released for my geographic area -it depends on to which label it is licenced and sometimes you'll see it multiple times in the index, one restriced and another release that I can get my hands on. All too often still, no alternative licencing basically keeping that music away from me unless I resort to alterative options.

Really? Do a search for sasha on beatport. For me (sydney) all the tracks that are on the label Ultra are listed as restricted, (but are also available on emfire).
