well i tried that... the results were... pretty shitty, to say the least. i never could make them sound the way i wanted to, and the more time i spent on it, the less inspiration was left.Comment

Re: Wanna know why I still use Soulseek sometimes?
i know it's kind of an old, and really old, topic,
but tonight i found myself in the shi**iest situation for the 2647587th time and i remembered this [ms] topic !
so, i wanted to register myself to a site that's about promoting/selling digital releases,
under the price $39 per month,
and i entered there to fill in the payment form put a card # and so on and so on,
and suddenly..
..there is Sri Lanka (?!?) and St.Hellena (?????) on the list of the countries,
but there is no Serbia, anywhere!!! no traces!!!
tried under all of the names, Serbia, Yugoslavia.. nothing!!!
so what the hell are we talking about in here,
pay for music, yeah, we want your money but we don't remember your country exists on this planet at all.. damn! suckers........... i'm tired of this ignorance and 'restricted' games so muchComment

Re: Wanna know why I still use Soulseek sometimes?
sometimes different websites have different restrictions, sometimes the track will come out on a different non restricted label, a little due diligence helps too.. but if you use soulseek every now and again, just do it, and shut up about it
I've met a few producers on soulseek too, it's a nice tool to use, not abuseComment

Re: Wanna know why I still use Soulseek sometimes?
The irony is with all this "Restricted Territory" bullshit is you can just go to a decent record store (or Ebay) and probably buy it on Vinyl Import!!
(unless it's a digital exclusive track obviously...)Comment

How do you look up this info? I've never quite understood where mine came from (good & bad) and I'd be interested to know. Can't see it in my user profileComment
