Digweed's first hour was a boring cr*p imo. Many people left the dance floor, and went up to room 2. The second hour was a bit better, and after 3 o'clock, it was fantastic. Really hard, stunning set, and the atmosphere was great.
Someone said he played until 8 am! WOW! I left around 6.

Digweed started with Rowdent-Eat Your Heart Out and I was thinking 'Oh no' as I really don't like that track, but after that he was excellent. I agree that he stepped things up a notch from hour 2 onwards. He played an outrageous track about 2.30am, would love to hear it agan but you know what it's like in a club - you think it's the best tune you have ever heard and then 10 mins later you can't remember how it went!

I was impressed - maybe I'm back on the Digweed trail again?

          He also played:

Alex Dolby & Santos - Babylon
Giorgos Gatzgristos - Binary Star Systems
          Carl Crai - Angel *

          * = when this was played my ears would not stop tingling and my nose too - I was actually in discomfort and had to get off the dancefloor. Dunno if it was the speakers or what but my mate had the same problem? Insane track but not suited for that system (which I thought was very bass heavy at times)

Good to meet with Adzey and Chunky at long last!

Unfortuntely I had to leave at 4.15am as my friend had to be up today (ouch!) but I still had a great night - my first time clubbing since Hernan in Ibiza last September

Best tune on the 'Package' imo!

              Fact.

Oh God still cannot feel my feet.

Fantastic night ... the last four hours John could not stop dropping bombs.
My condition does not permit full report atm

It was nice meeting Adzey, Simon and DZone

Wish I was there. Sounds like it was a great night. By the way how was Danny Howells warming-up for diggers?

I only caught the last 40 minutes of Danny's set but I was a little underwhelmed to be honest. I know it was a warm up set but I was still expecting the odd classic here and there near the end.

howells was immense and warmed it up super for diggers.

for me as they have now given the stage to the dj its kinda lost a bit of its magic as the ms crew has always been on the stage.

was disappointed with diggers to begin with boring, samey bland...but it did get better

Come off it Adzey, from where I was standing Howells was decent but not ground breaking.

uhh john destroyed that place. we stayed right until the very last track. i could barely walk on the way out (same as last year!).

i've got videos to post when i get back to canada wednesday. until then all i will say is that i've never heard a more vocal-free, nasty techno sounding set from the man. i can't believe his ability to sustain a groove for hours at a time! oh and the uncharacteristic trainwreck around 5am! that was the first and only noticeable mistake i've heard the man make in the 15 or so times i've seen him. i honestly think it was the cdj though, as he looked at it like it was from mars when it happened.

                                more later...
