I have to tip my hat to Jamie Foxx -- I am not a fan of his at all (in fact, I actively dislike his whole schtick), but he was outstanding in this movie. The acting is so good that the story is completely secondary (although quite interesting as well).

I kept having to remind myself that I wasn't actually watching Ray Charles. Phenomenal performance from Foxx. Check it out.

I watched Jamie Foxx on InsideTheActorsStudio last night on Bravo. Very impressed with the guy. His talent is impressive, and it goes beyond acting and comedy. He's a classical pianist and vocalist as well. Athlete. Standup Comedy.
