Two weekends ago...

I was in the hospital after having my appendix removed because it was infected. Lucky for me the thing did not rupture. I would have to say it was some of the worst pain i've ever felt. Was wondering if anyone else had the same experience?

I had my appendix removed when I was about 14. It fucking sucked for sure, and I beared with the pain until I couldn't walk before I finally went to the hospital. It definitely hurts. by time a person actually wants to go to the hospital for it, it's about to burst. tricky lil boogers

have not had a life threatening illness such as that, but 4 years ago i had some of my ankle bone removed due to a calcium deposit. my ankle had been bothering me for about 6 years at that point. it was very painful sometimes and really limited my physical activity. anyway, they sawed off about a half inch of bone and i couldnt walk for a month, it still aches sometimes but nothing like before the surgery.

yeah I know what it feels like and it sucks big time.

we are all lucky it didnt rupture, because if it did we could have gotten into something called septic shock, and it can screw you really bad.

Have you ever had tooth ache? I`m sorry to hear about your appendix and i`m glad it worked out alright but there is no pain in the world that comes anywhere near the agonising pain that is tooth ache

Worst pain, hmmmmm let's see. Scratched my cornea, that really hurt, bike accident that left the right side of my face looking like Freddy from Nightmare on Elm Street that one was worth a trip to the hospital and about seven hours of surgery, torn ALC and messed up my miniscus four hours in the opeerating room, broken right wrist in 2 places, oh yeah and catching a lacrosse ball in the balls. That really did not feel nice.
Still a .22 in the elbow would not feel like a really good booty call.

dislocated my knee cap... learning to do the marengue and my foot lands next to the foot of the couch but didnt touch it so I didnt realize... partner turned, I turned ... and so did the rest of me except my left leg..... knee cap popped right off.....by the time I hit the ground, it was sitting perpendicular to the side of my leg.... I mean I could actually touch the underneath of my knee cap..... I could bear the pain but I couldn't STAND not having to walk for a fucking month...

I feel ya. Looking down and seeing your leg, or any other body part, not the way it was intended to be bent is really fucking painfull.
