Re: Bloody hell - Wacko Jacko is dead
Thriller was one of the first cassette tapes I bought, too. I'm 30. I remember as a very young grade schooler playing the "drums" (Dukes of Hazzard lunchbox & some wooden spoons from the kitchen) to Beat It on my walkman. I still think his earlier Jackson Five stuff has timeless class to it.
I don't know whether or not he really molested those children. All I know is that (1) he was acquitted by a jury of his peers, so the evidence most likely was not have been beyond reasonable doubt, and (2) the family that lastly accused him has had a history of shady behavior and accusations - such as when the mother claimed to have been beaten and sexually molested by security guards after she was caught shoplifting at a J.C. Penney store (she eventually got a nice little settlement out of that one, too). This isn't all to say that this proves Michael's innocence, but just that that woman had a lot of credibility issues...which is probably why the case ended up as it did. So I dunno...
But whatever the case may be, I still don't wish death on him or anymore else. He made a real positive impact in the music world, and I respect that irrespective of his personal shortcomings. Rest in peace.mixes: www.waxdj.com/miroslavComment

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.Comment

This Children are a little safer tonight. Maybe he was acquitted in a court of law but the dude admitted to enjoying sleeping with young children. It's also being said he had a pretty heavy prescription drug addiction. His talent and musical contribution are un-questioned for sure.Comment

Re: Bloody hell - Wacko Jacko is dead
amazing how his death has taken over the air waves. I would say it is a bigger death than Elivis' death. It proves his impact in the 80s over shadows his issues in the 2000s. As a kid when thriller came out, the world was in awe. revolutionary and amazing. Billie Jean is my fav of his tunes.
Its funny, with all of his recent legal issues, they are all irrelevant. He is an icon, and the death of someone with that status will hit everyone weather you are a fan or not.Originally posted by MiroslavIt's not like he grabbed his balls and sucked his dick. Being in the child protection unit in the South African Police Service for 5 years I saw the roll on effect of abused children going on to abuse other children. It has far reaching consequences many years into the future. Lets hope the legacy of "alleged abuse to children" stops now with his death!

Poor human being!
