Flies have life cycles of 7 to 10 days, I'd say he's done well coming so far!

Thriller was one of the first cassette tapes I bought, too. I'm 30. I remember as a very young grade schooler playing the "drums" (Dukes of Hazzard lunchbox & some wooden spoons from the kitchen) to Beat It on my walkman. I still think his earlier Jackson Five stuff has timeless class to it.

I don't know whether or not he really molested those children. All I know is that (1) he was acquitted by a jury of his peers, so the evidence most likely was not have been beyond reasonable doubt, and (2) the family that lastly accused him has had a history of shady behavior and accusations - such as when the mother claimed to have been beaten and sexually molested by security guards after she was caught shoplifting at a J.C. Penney store (she eventually got a nice little settlement out of that one, too). This isn't all to say that this proves Michael's innocence, but just that that woman had a lot of credibility issues...which is probably why the case ended up as it did. So I dunno...

But whatever the case may be, I still don't wish death on him or anymore else. He made a real positive impact in the music world, and I respect that irrespective of his personal shortcomings. Rest in peace.

An online hoax from 1999, which claims actor Jeff Goldblum has died in New Zealand, has returned.
New Zealand police have been taking calls, as have local media outlets, after the online hoax went viral again today.
The hoax - which first appeared in 1999 - involves international reports saying the actor has died, usually in a fall, while filming in New Zealand. The reports normally claim to have New Zealand Police confirmation.
Police said about midday today that they had no reports of the actor dying in New Zealand, and had not released any statements of that nature. They confirmed the hoax re-appeared every so often and that they had been taking inquiries from media this morning.
Goldblum roles include Jurassic Park and the television series Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
    *edit ... its a hoax i guess

Guy lived a troubled lifestyle. Was always bombarded with bad press. i hope he finds peace. Despite his albums sucking come the 90's, the man went through a lot, especially as a kid, and that certainly shaped him to be what he was today.

Dude trust me it's weird when you grow up with Michael Jackson and Pet Shop Boys and finding out how queer they are later on.

It doesn't matter man. Regardless of when the talent was lost, the talent was there and it changed the world.
