      Hello,
Regarding postings, a good way to organize different subjects and merging them to one post, is to use quotes for each of the subject. They attract better the attention of the viewers, plus they are smoothly organized

Now, about the mixer. the Master volume LEDs are lit ONLY when you are using the MAster volume level fader/rotary on each mixer. The booth out has no LED levels except if you own a Rodec clubMixer which has more than one separately controlled and volume level LED displayed outs...

Regarding your signal catching problem, try connecting your mixer to the same power socket array that you have the rest of your DJ equipment. BUT be careful to isolate your TV, Satellite Receiver, AV Receiver, Cordless Dect phone devices and so on from this socket multiplier/splitter you have your DJ equippment attached to. This may help you eliminate the problem you have.

Let me know if I can assist you further

      Cheers,
      Panos.

I understand that. Thats not what I asked. My point was that the MIX volume button does not affect the LEDs.. only the output volume of the XLR outputs. The manual says this is normal. It doesnt make sense to me... how do we know how much output are we giving to the XLR outputs?

Also.. and I noticed this on other mixers across youtube.. the master LEDs dont go as high as the channel LEDs. They differ in about 1 or 2dB. I dont know why.

Re: Xone 42 or DJM 600s

The Master Out of each mixer, has a variable voltage rate output of 2~7V normally. The line channel voltage output that passes through the mixing logical ICs and circuits of each mixer, is significantly less than the one emmited by the Master out. This is why you have different response between the master and the channel fader VU Level LEDs.

Regarding the mixer main outs, all expensive and well designed mixers, have also a TRIM knob in the back side, so that you can adjust the response and amounds of Voltage that the main Outs surpass to the speakers.

As you may also notice, the Channel VU LED meters of the mixers start litting or flashing when there is signal present. So even if your Channel fader is set to 0 (While 0 = no sound and not 0db), signal present will still exist as these VU Meters are Pre-Fader installed. However, GAIN knobs are also Pre-Fader installed and thus, are affecting the Channel Signal Levels by increasing or decreasing it, so this way only you will see significant changes to your Channel Level LED meteres.

Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

            Thanks... no trim knob tho.

Sadly, after a few hours of normal use I already notice the crossfader bleeding sound.. heres a little video of the problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OhdHnQ9tuI

            Already emailed djstore.

Well in this case, maybe a crossover replacement will do the job fine.
Or if it is an IC short circuiting there, RMAing it, will be the best solution.

I hope the store has a 7days DOA or money back warranty, right?

Well it looks like sometimes European laws do exist in Greece with the same power...
Lucky you about the DOA thing, go for it

I checked their website and they say 7 days. But they say the gear must be un-opened, un-used etc. How can someone find out they are not happy with the gear without opening it or using it? By looking at the box? The mixer is broken so they have to take it.. but what if im not happy with some other gear?

Also.. shipping them the mixer alone costs like 70€ FML

These are the risks of buying overseas. I would contact both A&H and the store regarding the matter, because itf it is a faulty x-fader it will cost only about 10 Euros to be shipped back for a replacement one. So try to verify if this is an sfader problem (reverse it to see how it responds and so on). I hope you are lucky on this, therwise you are going to lose about 70 Euros.

Since you located are in Europe, you can send your item through your local post office and via EPG parcel service. This service is a special Express service valid for almos all European destinations. It cost about 35-40 euros for a 5KG weighting, takes 2-5 working days MAX to arrive and provides tracking and insurance up to 600 Euros included in the default price.

                                I hope this helps.
