P90x

Anyone else doing this workout?

My fiance saw it on an infomercial in March. Jamey (Bender) ended up buying it before we decided to get ours, and after his first week we saw a difference in him. He eventually had to put his workouts on hold to work on the Jonna Hex movie, but he's started it up again. I've never bought anything from an infomercial before, but I tell you, this was a good decision. The whole marketing scheme behind it is kinda cheesy, but it works.

I just finished my first round and started my second round today. I've lost 20lbs and 3 inches off my waist. I'm not completely ripped or anything, but the before and after pictures are pretty dramatic.

one of my employees has been doing this for a while. have to say i have noticed a difference in her appearance. this like any other workout all depends on how bad you want to lose the weight and your level of determination.

yea, it's made a difference to him and my best friend also lost 30 lbs in the first 90 days. i really like it, it was just impossible to do it while working 13+ hrs a day outside in the louisiana summer! i just started it again yesterday so i'm going thru all the pain again. it's worked really well for clint and he didn't even follow the diet part. he just tried to eat healthier.

i kill myself doing up downs, thinking positions and slices of heaven. it's quite the workout. i leave it to the gym for recovery days. i'd rather sprint up a hill.

smart gorilla marketing, using youtube to feature before and after pics. how much did p90x cost you?

it's about $ 140 i think for 12 dvd's a workout book and a diet book.

any consistent workout + good diet will yield the same results.

i'd be curious to see someone sustain those results. there would definitely be a leveling off period, unless there is a completely different p90x to follow. the first 90 days of any workout routine will yield the quickest results...sustaining those results is a different story. 30 lbs in 90 days is a lot, almost unheard of unless you're getting your stomach stapled, or unless you were really fat. i dropped about 30 lbs last year but it took about 10-12 months, with consistent gym excercise and a good diet. difference might be tho that i had ONLY that amount to lose.
