    DJing Modding Tech 1200's

Before you mock me I got MKII's as they were cheap...so shut up!

Anyway, after some careful deliberations, I modded the following:

    -Took out the zero click
    -Removed the quartz lock
    -Cranked up the brake
    -Soldered on breakout boxes
-Made new ground wires w/spade terminals
    -Recalibrated pitch to 0 w/multimeter

You know what? After digging into these a bit...this shit's pretty damn easy!

Next up ultimately: changing out all the lights to LED's & padding tonearms

    Finished products w/boxes:

    Re: Modding Tech 1200's

the only thing I would wanna do with a tech 12 would be. Other than taking the click out of the MK2's, putting the pitch adjust to 4% instead of the 8%. That way I can get more close to the exactness I want the vinyl to be at. I wanna go to the bathroom and come back with the tables still locked together. LOL!
