House Masters

Hoping you chaps could help me out with something. We do a compilation series called 'House Masters' which is basically a series which focuses on house producers that have been fairly prolific and successful - we then stick 20 of their productions/remixes on an album. Being Defected owned, the past ones have been very much on the housey side of house (Louie Vega, Sandy Rivera, Dennis Ferrer etc..) but we're looking at who else we could incorporate into the series.

I suggested Kevin Saunderson which was fairy well recieved, so we're talking along those kind of lines. Any suggestions from you would be much appreciated...

Exactly. Every second of the day is a time to move forward to the talented, newer faces on the scene.

Jerome Sydenham was my choice because he has remixed everyone, and has a style range from minimal all the way to deep house.

Yeah Jerome is a good shout. And while I'd like to see Jamie Jones, Martinez etc... do one, it's just way too deep for the label. Charles Webster is also a good shout, although we did an albu m with him last year so it might be a bit overkill.
