he had a hard time looking thru his music .. poor light
if i knew i was the only one here going i would have gone more prepared

JD usually has his little red-beam torch light + flicks through his vast array of CD's at warp speed

take my word for it, the handwriten track names on the cds does *not* help at all

yeah i dont know how you would even be able to read that if just slightly buzzed with such poor lighting....a nice large font block letter typed insert would help out tremendously.

i alos have mine mostly catergorized in an excell spreadsheet as well....works wonders.

No, those are the keys of the tracks, which is why he mentioned mixed in key

Man how does he even put a set together with those shoddy labelling? I'm quite surprised he notes the keys on the CDs, I would've thought a DJ of his calibre is past that, but he probably has too much music to remember them all.

Not only does he label keys on his discs, he'll have multiple cds with the same tracks in a different order so he can vary up his sets when doing tours.
