It's once again time for another installment of MCast's collaboration with Proton Radio. MCast Resident Philipp Moor, who is probably best known around these parts for delighting us with his aquanaun dream show on MCast since February of this year, is doing the honors this month. Philipp is a old school member of FSM Pensacola and product of Simons Club, and brings us some of that good old Florida sound this month, delivering a two hour set that is kinda proggy, kinda chunky, kinda techy, but most importantly, always great music. As an added bonus, you'll hear some of the finest tech house in the land with an hour long set from Dave Armstrong to finish things off.

Here's the skinny on Dave -- very much looking forward to his set:

David Armstrong was born and raised in Bonita Springs, Florida. He
attended the University of Florida in 1992 and earned a degree in
Sociology. While in college, David became friends with Philipp Moor
aka DJ Aquanaun in the mid 90’s. Under the apprenticeship of The Zenith
Promotion Group,20(Created by Brad Harwood and Tony Jensen) David
Learned the Craft of Deejaying. David spent two years perfecting his
skill as a Deejay, while working at various Bars and Clubs in
Gainesville, Florida. David held positions at SoulHouse, Simon's, Loft,
Plasma Lounge, Vibe, & Lush. His experience in the Club Industry
started at Doorman and David worked his way up through the Ranks all
the way to Bar Manager. His Final attainment was the title of DeeJay.
Philipp Moor and Chad Hornaday, in particular were the deejays
responsible for David's teachings. David's other major influences for
his sound came from John Digweed, Mike Hiratzka, Joe C, Brad Harwood,
and D-Tox aka Darrel Carter. David's playing style lies mostly in The
Tec-House-Progressive range. His style usually concentrates on the
darker side of both Genres. Once immersed in Underground Music, David
has never looked back. Allowing the Vibe to encapsulate every facet of
his life and always staying true to his roots in The Music Scene. David
now resides in Bonita Springs, Florida at the Age of 35, with his wife
Lee Ann. David currently has a weekly residency on Yourcrate.com on his
show, The Continuum. David also plays in Gainesville, Florida, on
occasion at Spannk Nite Club and The Plasma Lounge. David has his
sights set on producing his own sound in the near future. We look
forward to what David Armstrong has in store for us.
